What can I do to improve my 97 Mercury Cougar?

Thinking of several different things. I want to put in a bigger engine, but with gas prices don't want to. So I was wondering if there is a V8 out there that will fit in my Cougar with little to no problems and has the valve shut off option for when all 8 cylinders aren't needed or wanted. I was in a similar situation as you were. What I would do is become his friend first. Talk on the phone. Meet somewhere other than your church. Go out with each other with a group of friends first, and if you guys feel comfortable enough, go out alone as friends. I believe friendship is a great start for these kind of relationships. I have inherited a portion of a trust, how long before it pays out?

You need to have things you can do that will take your mind away from the pressures of daily life. Exercise would carry a double benefit for you. There has been a problem with a computer i bought from Harvey Norman a while ago. I have taken it in for repair a few times and most of the times they return it to me within a few weeks. On the terms and conditions, it says that repairs may take up to 6 weeks but my computer has been in the shop for about 9 weeks. It would probably be a good idea to take him to the vet and have them check for a bladder infection just to be on the safe side. Some dogs can have crystals in there urine or bladder stones. This can be a serious life threatening problem. If its a bladder infection then a course of antibiotics should resolve it. The vet will probably want to do some blood work to check his kidney function.

Does using a rowing machine help flatten your stomach?

Any cardio will help. Rowing machines are great because they hit your upper body, lower body, back and core. Treadmills just target lower body... The machines and situps will absolutely help tone and develop your ab muscles, but will not really "flatten" - if by flatten, you mean trim excess fat. Only cardio will significantly impact that. Do the rowing machine and stair climber religiously and you'll be good to go.

3 year old dropping weight?

My foundation bred QH has always been a consistantly easy keeper. He has free choice access to Coastal round bales, gets one scoop of 12% pellets twice a day, and has access to pasture. He's up to date on all vaccines, rotating wormers, and floating teeth. He also gets sand clear once a month for a week, as I live in Florida. However, in the past month, he's been dropping a LOT of weight. His ribs are visible and the spine is protruding slightly. I had the vet out, and he said the horse is healthy, no worms or other illnesses. Has anyone had this happen to their horse? Would something as simple as beet pulp pick his weight back up even though nothing has changed in his diet since he was an easy keeper? I hate seeing him like this but it seems like no matter what I do, the weight keeps dropping. Any suggestions?

Ok today at school I was running down the hallway and I tripped over my friends leg while she was bending down getting something off the floor and I fell and hit my knee on the wall really bad. I am in a vascular program currently and graduate in January. If you want to work OB then if I were you I would go with a general US program. They are trained in all aspects of US then after you finish you can choose what you do. If you work in a hospital more than likely you will do all the scans but if you work in a office then you can do OB . To do general US you need to take your pre req's from a college and then apply to the US program. Or if you decide to do echo or vascular there are allied health programs that sometimes require no pre req's.. In the state I live in you can make onward of 25-30 an hour if you work at the right place and know what you are doing and get registered.. Good luck!!

I was minding my own business when I noticed a small red mark on my child's face, about half a centimeter below her lip. I did the gl test and it kind of went away, it faded a bit, then stayed faded for a second or two, then came back to full colour. My timing mark is off but the motor runs better?

I have a 1978 buick regal with a 383 stroker. The motor was not running 100% so I went to time it and the timing mark is about 90 degrees advanced. The closer to the standard mark of 10 degrees advanced it gets, the worse it runs to the point that it will not run. I got the motor running good at this weird timin but I would prefer if the timing mark was right so I could perfect the timing. I had the motor rebuilt last summer and the machinist marked the harmonic balancer and the timing mark. The marks he had placed worked perfect for about a year, and than this happened. Hi, I got a used car a little while ago and it's been great and still is except for this one thing. It's an '03 infiniti I35 and rides really smooth for the most part now when I'm driving at around 30mph, I can feel the car starting to bump around. It's hard to explain but if I were to diagnose the problem I would say that the front or rear left tire is weird and throwing the car off balance every rotation. This issue doesn't happen under or above 30 (ish) mph. Does anyone know what WORST and BEST case scenario is in this situation? Honestly, for all I know something might have been wrong with the road and not the car. Thanks

Simple 2D collision detection?

I've started working on a simple RTS game, written in C with Cairo on top of SDL. One of the parts of my design is to eliminate the grid that units usually stand on. In order to do this, I have to do collision detection between units constantly. Each unit acts like a perfect circle in terms of collision, so it's not too hard to calculate if two units are colliding. I've yet to implement this, but it seems like it would be very slow and not scalable to check all possible collisions every frame, so I'm uming some other technique is usually used. Does anyone know how collision detection is usually implemented in this cirstance? Or is it just impractical to eliminate "the grid"?.

I have done everything to get ready for Christmas this year. He got up slammed the chips down, snatched my daughter up, and started to leave. I lost my temper then and told him how sorry it was that he has done nothing to help me. He said nothing and left!
