Would you comment on part 1 (of 3) in my narrative poem?

Please keep it posted for although I’ve read all 3 parts once, I intend to read it many times over knowing that one reading or two or even three won’t be enough to truly savor the subtleties, the emotions therein injected, the fineness and grandeur and power of this well written piece. Needless to say that much heart, hours and love have been poured into this narrative blank verse of almost 200 14-syllable lines – the first of its kind ever posted in this forum. There is nothing neither sallow nor par close about this endeavor. And Peter must have come from a Scottish burgh to write in this language using words richly harvested from the unbounded Glebes of his beautiful mind (to use his own words).
