Can somebody help me with this hard riddle?

There are 3 poor men who walk into a hotel. The hotel manager charges the men 30 dollars for 1 night. Each man pays 10 dollars. Later on the manager is feeling bad so he gives the bell hop 5 dollars to give back to the men. The bell hop stops midway there and says to himself "There are 3 men and 5 dollars so they wont be able to split it evenly." so he slipped 2 dollars into his pocket and gives each man a dollar back which would mean each man only paid 9 dollars. 27 dollars they paid plus the 2 ?
